Premiere: Smizzy previews his upcoming new album with its first single, We Swear

The track also features vocals from Jinja Safari's Marcus Azon.

After a short hiatus Smizzy (formerly Smiles from Mind Over Matter) has returned with a big new single in We Swear, a track that also serves as the first taste of his upcoming album, The Cover, due early next year. The track doesn't pull its punches, exploring the everyday troubles of western culture, something the rapper himself knows all too well. Adding to the overall vibes of the track comes Marcus Azon (Jinja Safari), offering the listener a chance to breathe thanks to a soaring chorus line.

The track also continues the maturation of Smizzy as an artist, from his early days loving the party, to a more socially aware now, excited to tackle the darker shades of life - just another reason why he's becoming more and more revered amongst his peers.
