There's a lot to love from Moaning Lisa in 2018. The Canberra-based four-piece have become one of our favourite acts over the last nine months with a consistent run of great singles, kicking off with the Pilerats-premiered ode to "being queer, loving women, and the legendary Carrie Brownstein", Carrie (I Want A Girl), which they since followed up with the v-great Good – a single that united their nostalgic alt-rock feel with some incredibly catchy vocals that have made it a stand-out single from the crew this year. They were also one of the sure-fire highlights of BIGSOUND – just to put the cherry on top.

Now, with the end of the year in sight, Moaning Lisa have no plans on slowing down their stand-out year. They've just announced their new EP Do You Know Enough?, which will see the group join Father/Daughter Records (as well as their long-term home Hysterical Records) on its October 19th release. They've also just announced their signing to Select Music for bookings – another massive move which merely cements that the group aren't going anywhere in the years to come.

To top it all off, they've just released the EP's third tease in Comfortable, a track which makes it three from three from the group with its more down-tempo take on Moaning Lisa's powerful sound. As noted, Comfortable sees the Canberra group slow it down a touch, with their alt-rock influences still shining through but in a more subdued and collected way that allows the vocals of frontwoman Charlotte Versegi take centre stage along with the track's charming guitar line which really heats up towards the end. "Comfortable was written during that in-between period of dating," sats Versegi on the single. "It's a confident, albeit sardonic, journey from accepting to celebrating being by yourself."
