How good are your ballpoint pen skills?

Remember in high school when you used to doodle random pictures with your ballpoint pen? Maybe you still do it when you're bored or on the phone with someone who is boring. But I'll put a fair bet on it that they're not quite up to the standard of Spanish illustrator Juan Francisco Casas, and if you were doing it in high school, hopefully they weren't quite of the content of the below pictures.

I love hyper-real illustrations/paintings, and while doing them in ballpoint pen creates a slight disconnect between what is real and what is not, they're no less incredible to take in. So please, enjoy a few random selections from the internet that we particularly enjoyed, and check out more of his work HERE.
