cln - Better Than

Better Than is 18-year-old Brissy producer cln's new single, and it's the first taste of his forthcoming EP, Sideways. I've been following his progress for a while, including remixes of tracks like Disclosures' White Noise, and Kilter's They Say, which were cool without blowing the proverbial roof off. So it gives me great pleasure today to share with you Better Than, because it stands head and shoulders above those remixes - which is all you want when it comes to originals. I guess you'd slide it under the 'chilltrap' genre, if that's a thing, and the warped vocal samples combine nicely with a tough drum-snare combo that keeps it from being super-down-tempo.
